In My Mailbox (35)

In My Mailbox is hosted by Kristi from The Story Siren.

I got five books this week (well, from the last two weeks):
-
1. The Scorpio Races by Maggie Stiefvater
2. Bloodlines by Richelle Mead
-
-
3. Shadows On The Moon by Zoe Marriott
4. Anglefire by L. A. Weatherly
-
-
5. Lies by Michael Grant

I loved Maggie Stiefvater's 'Wolves of Mercy Falls' trilogy so I had to pick up her latest story :) I have yet to read Gone and Hunger (which I have and hope to get round to soon) but Lies was in the buy one get one for a pound offer at Waterstones so I picked it up along with 'The Scorpio Races'. The 'Vampire Academy' series is one of my favourite series and intially I wasn't that excited for 'Bloodlines' because I was satisfied with the ending for Vampire Academy but the more I read about it the more I wanted to recapture that excitement I had with Rose's adventures. I also picked up 'Angelfire' because I loved the prequel 'Angel' and finally I picked up 'Shadows on the Moon' to complete the three for two offer at W. H. Smith's and also because I remember reading a glowing review over at Fluttering Butterflies and getting excited for it. So those are my books for this week's In My Mailbox. Let me know if any of you have read and enjoyed them :)

Great haul! I still have to get Bloodlines. I really enjoyed her VA series.

I'm not in a rush to read Bloodlines for the reason you mentioned, though I definitely will be reading it! And I really like the UK cover for Scorpio Races-I find it more striking. Hope to read that soon too!
Thanks for stopping by and enjoy all your books :)

Bloodlines was so wonderful, I thought. I like Sydney even better than Rose and I'm interested to see where the story goes. I hope you like it.

Bloodlines looks good! I haven't finished the Vampire Academy series yet ( I was afraid of how emotionally painful it might be!), but I'm definitely going to get in to them again when I'm home for Christmas (I think the books are hiding in our attic at the moment).

My IMM is here: The Book Bundle
