Looking Back : November 2011

I read three books this November:
-
1. The Thousand Autumns of Jacob De Zoet by David Mitchell
2. Daughter of Smoke and Bone by Laini Taylor
3. The Woman in White by Wilkie Collins

This has been my slowest reading month so far this year, mainly because I've started a new job and I'm still adjusting to less free time, but I have enjoyed the three books I've read this November. It took me three weeks to read The Woman in White but it was my absolute favourite of the month and possibly one of my favourites of all time! The Thousand Autumns of Jacob De Zoet was another awesome book. It is the second of David Mitchells works that I have read (the first being Cloud Atlas) and it was just as good. Finally, The Daughter of Smoke and Bone definitely deserved the hype that surrounded it. It wasn't a full five star book for me but it came very close and I can't wait for the sequel. I'm looking forward to the new month (Christmas! YAY!) and I'm hoping that I can get back into reviewing the books I've read and also reading more :)
